- Development of infrastructure of water supply and water discharge of Rostov-on-Don and South-West of Rostov Region
- Increase of quality of water supply and water discharge services provision
- Decrease of negative effect on the river Don and watershed of the Azov Sea and Black Sea

The most important component of the first stage of complex investment project Complex Programme of Construction and Reconstruction of Water Supply and Water Discharge Objects of the City of Rostov-on-Don and South-West of Rostov Region
Construction in 2009-2012
What will new water supply point give to the city of Rostov-on-Don?
- It will resolve the issue of drinking water deficit
- It will take off some load from the existing Aleksandrovskiy water supply point
- It will decrease costs, including costs on power consumption, on water transportation for big distances on the complex landscape of the city
- It will cancel infrastructure restrictions for development of industrial enterprises in the North-Western industrial zone of Rostov-on-Don
- It will create conditions for architectural development of the city, in particular, it will allow construction of a new micro-district Liventsovskiy
Estimated capacity of the first stage of water supply point is 150,000 cubic meters/day
The most modern technology of ultraviolet water treatment will be used guarantying decrease of its salinity and stability of treatment parameters.
