“The Best Worker” Contest among accident recovery engineers was held at Rostov Vodokanal

The accident recovery engineers of water supply and sewage systems took part in the annual “The Best Worker” Contest organized at Rostov Vodokanal. Six professional teams from Rostov and Bataisk Vodokanal competed at the specific training practice ground.

The engineers made a deal of dismounting actions at a pipeline section, installed maxidaptors at the current pipe line, mounted a pipeline and maintenance connecting clip. The teams crossed swords when cleaning the sanitary section at the sewage system as well as mounting the effluent disposal line made of asbestos-cement pipes with 200mm in diameter. These were the actions accident recovery engineers have to do for maintenance and remedial works at lines.

The following contest stages within “The Best Worker” will involve pumpmen, electric and gas welders, maintenance technicians and electricians. In December an awarding ceremony and announcing the winners will take place at the Staff Training Center of Rostov Vodokanal.

The most spectacular programmes were held at the educational and training ground of Rostov Vodokanal. It was constructed as a site to practice the remedy activity skills and isolation valves replacement actions. Rostov Vodokanal enjoys all the necessary conditions to be the host site of the contest. The production ground let the contestants to reveal their professional skills and share their experience with the colleagues.

The final stage of the contest “The Best Worker” was held at Rostov Vodokanal this July. The professionally oriented contest was organized for the workers of water supply and sewage plants under the corporation of OJSC “Evraziyskiy” So the teams of interior contest winners coming from Rostov-on-Don, Sochi and Novorossiysk competed at Rostov Vodokanal.
