Amnesty for unauthorized users has entered final straight

The final weeks of amnesty for the unauthorized users, announced by JSC «Vodokanal Rostov-on-Don» on August 11 this year has entered final straight. The Rostovites who have unauthorized connections to the city water supply and sewage network, use the services without a contract shall be in a hurry and in the time left till the end of amnesty legalize their relationship with Vodokanal, which will allow avoiding many problems in the future. 

Now it may be definitely stated that the city inhabitants have appreciated an unprecedented step of JSC «Vodokanal Rostov-on-Don», made forward to the consumers. The company's free will has found a broad response among the Rostovites. Many natural and legal persons have used a unique chance provided by Vodokanal to legalize unauthorized connection to the city water supply and sewage network,  without being afraid of high fines and penalties and at the same time save money on making a contract. 

In six weeks before the beginning of amnesty more than 420 people applied to the company dealing with the users of Rostov Vodokanal to obtain technical specifications to connect to the water supply and sewage systems. About 300 Rostovites came to Vodokanal to change the water supply norms because of the changed specifications. 80 people applied to open personal account. Materials for execution of technical documentation have been taken from 465 legal persons.

For example, one Rostov joint-stock company applied to the company dealing with the users of Rostov Vodokanal to execute technical documentation for 9 objects. At the same time on some of the objects there was unauthorized use of the water supply and sewage services use. 

The number of applications from the people and legal persons because of the amnesty is increasing every week. At the company dealing with the users they say that in spite of the high flow of visitors, every one will be paid attention to. In complicated cases when they can not be considered quite quickly, the applicant is registered and gets an appointment for a certain date. Even if the date is outside the amnesty period, all its terms are applied to the applicant. It is important to apply firstly while the amnesty period. 

As a rule, the «rush hours» at the company dealing with the users are before noon. After 14.00 there are much less visitors. From 16.00 till 18.00 there is nearly nobody and all the issues may be solved without wasting time and delays. 

The amnesty period is till October 10, 2008. It is applied to the consumers of the water supply and disposal services, who use them illegally without the contract with Vodokanal, have unauthorized connections to the city water supply and sewage networks. The amnesty covers all categories of consumers — natural and legal persons, including already existing users of Rostov Vodokanal. The amnesty allows avoiding fines and penalties. The order of making contracts is still the same as established by the legislation. Immediately after the amnesty Vodokanal will make an inventory and complex inspection of all the water supply and disposal networks and in case of finding unauthorized connections there will be applied strict sanctions, provided by the legislation of the Russian Federation.
